Fresh off the racks

New identity for the Mandal Hotel, which is due to open in the summer of 2019. The logo retrieves inspiration from local history and the traditional fish-drying racks you can still see in the area the hotel is located; the type is influenced by the Norse ‘runes’, and the brandmark was designed to merge with the environment it’s used on, whether photographic, illustrative, or physical.
